Double Girder Cranes Delivered for a Large Industrial Facility

In 2025, SEVENCRANE successfully secured another order from a long-term Pakistani partner for two sets of European Overhead Crane systems. This project marked the second cooperation between both companies, further strengthening the trust built through previous successful deliveries.

The customer is a trading company that specializes in supplying industrial equipment for large-scale projects in Pakistan. Before working with SEVENCRANE, the end user had been purchasing cranes from a well-known Italian manufacturer. Although the European supplier offered high-quality products, their prices were several times higher than comparable solutions available from Chinese manufacturers. After evaluating product quality, technical performance, and project costs, the customer determined that SEVENCRANE's European Overhead Crane solution provided the best value.

For this project, the customer required two sets of SNHS European double girder overhead cranes with a lifting capacity of 4 tons each. The cranes were designed with a span of 46.3 meters and a lifting height of 16.76 meters. Both cranes operate independently on separate runway systems, allowing efficient material handling across different sections of the facility. The power supply specification was 400V, 50Hz, 3-phase, and remote-control operation was selected to improve workplace safety and operational convenience.

In addition to the crane systems, the project also included P30 crane rails with a total length of 304.8 meters and a 16mm² bus bar power supply system covering 152.4 meters. These supporting components ensured reliable crane travel and stable power transmission throughout the workshop.

One of the biggest challenges of this project was the extremely long crane span. With a span exceeding 46 meters, transportation became a critical factor during the engineering phase. To comply with transportation regulations and reduce logistics costs, the main girders were divided into multiple sections, with each section measuring approximately 16 meters in length. Our engineering team carefully optimized the structural design to ensure easy assembly at the installation site while maintaining the rigidity and performance expected from a high-quality European Overhead Crane.

Another challenge involved the project schedule. The customer emphasized that the cranes had to be delivered before December 25 and repeatedly requested an accelerated production schedule. In addition, all manufacturing drawings were required within one week after order confirmation. Understanding the urgency of the project, SEVENCRANE immediately organized a dedicated project team involving engineers, production managers, and procurement specialists.

Through close coordination among departments, the engineering drawings were completed and submitted within the required timeframe. Material procurement and production planning were simultaneously accelerated to meet the demanding delivery schedule. Thanks to efficient project management and strong manufacturing capabilities, the production process remained on track despite the tight timeline.

The successful acquisition of this project was also the result of a competitive pricing strategy. During discussions, the customer compared our proposal with other crane suppliers and requested additional price optimization. After reviewing competing quotations and analyzing the project requirements, SEVENCRANE provided a revised commercial proposal that balanced cost competitiveness with product quality. This helped the customer secure the project and ultimately choose SEVENCRANE as their preferred supplier once again.

The project demonstrates the growing international recognition of Chinese-made European Overhead Crane solutions. By combining advanced European design concepts, reliable manufacturing quality, competitive pricing, and fast response times, SEVENCRANE continues to help customers worldwide achieve efficient and cost-effective material handling solutions.

As industries increasingly seek high-performance lifting equipment with lower investment costs, the European Overhead Crane remains one of the most popular choices for modern manufacturing plants, warehouses, steel processing facilities, and large industrial workshops around the world.
