As industrial production continues to expand, many manufacturers face the challenge of increasing lifting capacity within existing facilities. This project highlights how a long-term client in Russia successfully upgraded their material handling system by adding two European Type Single Girder Overhead Crane units to support factory expansion and improve operational efficiency.
The customer, first engaged in January 2024, is a loyal partner who has previously purchased overhead crane equipment from us. With the expansion of their workshop, they required additional lifting solutions that could seamlessly integrate into their existing infrastructure. Based on their previous successful experience, they specifically requested that the new cranes follow the same technical parameters as their earlier “655 order,” ensuring consistency in operation, maintenance, and spare parts management.
For this project, we supplied two sets of SNHD European Type Single Girder Overhead Crane, each with a 10-ton lifting capacity, a 13.5-meter span, and a 7.5-meter lifting height, operating under A5 working duty. Both cranes are equipped with wireless remote control systems, allowing operators to perform lifting tasks safely and efficiently from a distance.
To ensure smooth and reliable power supply, the system includes 65 meters × 2 of seamless busbar, along with connectors, fastening brackets, collectors, and tensioning devices. The extended length of the busbar system accommodates the different spans of the cranes, ensuring uninterrupted power transmission throughout the operation range.
In addition to the crane systems, the customer also ordered a series of spare parts, including P24 rail clips, busbar accessories, and fastening components, which will be used for future maintenance and operational security. This proactive approach reflects the customer’s emphasis on long-term reliability and reduced downtime.
Another key component of this project is the inclusion of two sets of European-style wire rope hoists (SNH model), each with a 6-ton lifting capacity and 7.5-meter lifting height. These hoists are installed on independent I-beams with a lower flange width of 120–150 mm, providing flexibility for auxiliary lifting tasks within the workshop.
Furthermore, the customer required five air conditioning units to be installed inside the crane cabins, ensuring a comfortable working environment for operators. Detailed specifications for the air conditioning systems were provided in the technical documents, and the final configuration was customized accordingly to meet local climate conditions.
The entire project was completed within a 20-working-day delivery period, demonstrating our strong production capability and efficient project management. The equipment was shipped via sea freight under FCA Suifenhe terms, ensuring smooth cross-border logistics into Russia.
This project is a clear example of how the European Type Single Girder Overhead Crane can be effectively integrated into existing facilities, offering high efficiency, reliable performance, and scalability for future expansion. By maintaining consistency with previous equipment and providing comprehensive supporting components, we helped the customer achieve a seamless upgrade with minimal disruption.
With its advanced design, stable operation, and flexible configuration, the European Type Single Girder Overhead Crane remains an ideal choice for modern industrial applications, especially for customers seeking to enhance productivity while maintaining long-term operational reliability.
