Large Batch of European Gantry Cranes Delivered to Chile

SEVENCRANE successfully completed a large-scale lifting equipment project for a long-term customer in Chile, supplying multiple European gantry cranes, crane kits, electric chain hoists, rails, cable reels, conductor systems, and wire ropes for a manufacturing facility. This project demonstrates SEVENCRANE's ability to provide complete material handling solutions rather than a single piece of equipment, helping customers simplify procurement and ensure compatibility between all lifting systems.

The cooperation between both companies began in September 2023, and after several successful orders, the customer once again selected SEVENCRANE as its preferred lifting equipment supplier. The latest project was delivered within 60 working days under CIF San Antonio Port, Chile, with 30% T/T as the advance payment and shipment by sea.

The order included a wide variety of lifting equipment designed for different working environments throughout the customer's factory.

The largest equipment consisted of two NMHII European double girder gantry cranes with a lifting capacity of 25 tons, a 16-meter span, and a 6.3-meter lifting height. These cranes were installed indoors, with both cranes operating on the same runway. To improve operational safety and monitoring efficiency, large LED display screens were installed on each crane, allowing operators to easily monitor load information and operating status during daily production.

Another important piece of equipment was a 20-ton NMH European single girder gantry crane featuring a 12-meter span and 6-meter lifting height. Although this crane was designed for outdoor operation, the customer planned to install it beneath a roof structure. Therefore, the final installation height would be determined according to SEVENCRANE's engineering drawings, ensuring sufficient clearance while maximizing the available lifting height. Like the 25-ton cranes, this gantry crane was also equipped with a large display screen for convenient real-time monitoring.

The project also included two 10-ton NMH European single girder gantry cranes with a 13-meter span and 8-meter lifting height. These cranes were intended for outdoor material handling applications and were supplied complete with cable reels and matching runway rails. Their European design offers reduced dead weight, smooth travel performance, and lower wheel pressure compared with conventional gantry cranes, making them ideal for continuous industrial operation.

In addition to complete gantry cranes, SEVENCRANE supplied one 3-ton SNHD European overhead crane kit without the main girder. Since the customer would manufacture the girder locally, only the end trucks, hoist system, electrical components, and related accessories were supplied. The customer's existing runway beam utilized a 40×30 rail profile, so the crane kit was specifically designed to match this installation condition, ensuring quick assembly after arrival.

To further expand the customer's lifting capabilities, SEVENCRANE also supplied two SWER European electric chain hoist systems. According to the customer's requirements, only the hoists, electrical control systems, C-track steel profiles, and cable systems were included, allowing installation onto the customer's existing support structure.

The project additionally included a comprehensive package of supporting accessories, including P38 rails with accessories, 60×40 crane rails, 250A conductor systems, 6 mm² conductor bars, cable reels, and multiple specifications of high-quality wire ropes. Left-hand rotation wire ropes with diameters ranging from 9 mm to 26 mm were supplied in different lengths to support both current operations and future maintenance requirements.

Because several cranes were installed in different environments, SEVENCRANE's engineering team carefully evaluated every installation condition before production. The indoor double girder gantry cranes required synchronized operation on the same runway, while the outdoor gantry cranes required careful consideration of structural clearances and environmental conditions. Detailed engineering drawings were prepared for customer confirmation before manufacturing began, ensuring every crane would perfectly match the actual installation site.

Logistics planning was equally important for this project. Different products required different shipping methods, including standard containers, an open-top container for one of the 10-ton gantry cranes, and break-bulk transportation for oversized components. SEVENCRANE coordinated the complete shipping plan to ensure all equipment arrived efficiently at San Antonio Port.

Having worked together for nearly two years, the customer already had complete confidence in SEVENCRANE's product quality, engineering capability, and project management. This repeat order reflects not only the excellent performance of our previous equipment but also our ability to deliver comprehensive lifting solutions for large industrial projects.

Today, SEVENCRANE continues to provide customized European gantry cranes, overhead cranes, crane kits, hoists, and complete material handling systems for customers worldwide, helping manufacturers improve productivity through reliable, efficient, and highly customized lifting solutions.
