Customer Background
The customer is an end user located in Chile, specializing in engine maintenance and repair services. In such facilities, large engine components often need to be lifted, moved, and positioned during inspection, repair, and assembly processes. Therefore, reliable and flexible lifting equipment is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and workplace safety.
The customer had previous experience using lifting equipment from Demag and several local Chilean brands, so they had clear expectations regarding quality, stability, and operational performance. The first contact with the client was established during an industry exhibition in May 2025, where SEVENCRANE engineers communicated directly with the customer about their workshop layout and lifting needs.

In addition to the lifting equipment, SEVENCRANE also supplied supporting components such as power conductor lines, rails, runway beams, and remote control systems to ensure seamless installation and operation.
Addressing Special Technical Requirements
The customer’s workshop had an existing crane structure, which required the new equipment to fit into the current layout. The SEVENCRANE engineering team carefully reviewed the workshop drawings and provided a solution for the runway beam spacing of 11 m + 11 m + 3 m, ensuring compatibility with the existing infrastructure.
Another specific requirement involved the 1.5-ton chain hoist remote control, which required a 48V control voltage instead of the standard configuration. The engineering team customized the electrical system accordingly to meet the client’s technical specifications.
The KBK crane system was also designed according to the exact space dimensions provided by the customer, ensuring that the equipment would fit perfectly within the maintenance area.
