Overhead Crane Solutions Delivered to Morocco

The Overhead Crane plays a central role in modern industries, providing safe, efficient, and precise lifting solutions for factories, workshops, warehouses, and steel processing plants. Recently, a large-scale project was successfully finalized for export to Morocco, covering multiple cranes, hoists, wheelboxes, and spare parts. This case not only highlights the versatility of overhead lifting equipment but also demonstrates the importance of customization, quality standards, and technical expertise in delivering complete lifting systems.

Standard Configurations Supplied

The order covered both single-girder and double-girder overhead cranes, along with electric chain hoists and wheelboxes. A summary of the main equipment supplied includes:

SNHD Single-Girder Overhead Crane – Models with lifting capacities of 3t, 5t, and 6.3t, customized spans between 5.4m and 11.225m, and lifting heights ranging from 5m to 9m.

SNHS Double-Girder Overhead Crane – Capacities of 10/3t and 20/5t, with spans of 11.205m and lifting heights of 9m, designed for handling heavy-duty operations.

DRS Series Wheelboxes – Both active (motorized) and passive types in models DRS112 and DRS125, ensuring smooth, durable crane travel.

DCER Electric Chain Hoists – Running-type hoists with capacities of 1t and 2t, equipped with 6m lifting height and remote control operation.

All cranes and hoists are designed to work at A5/M5 duty level, which makes them suitable for frequent operation in medium-to-heavy industrial settings.

Key Special Requirements

This order included multiple special customization requests to meet the client’s operational needs:

Dual-speed operation – All cranes, hoists, and wheelboxes are equipped with dual-speed motors for precise and flexible control.

DRS wheels on all cranes – Ensuring durability, smooth travel, and compatibility with the client’s pre-installed tracks.

Safety enhancements – Each crane and hoist is equipped with a hoist/trolley travel limiter to ensure safe operation.

Motor protection level – All motors meet IP54 protection standards, ensuring resistance to dust and water spray.

Dimensional accuracy – The final design of crane heights and end carriage widths strictly follows the approved customer drawings.

Dual-hook coordination – For the 20t and 10t double-girder overhead cranes, the hook spacing does not exceed 3.5m, allowing both cranes to work together for mold flipping tasks.

Track compatibility – With most cranes running on 40x40 square steel tracks, and one model specifically adjusted for a 50x50 rail, ensuring seamless installation on the client’s existing infrastructure.

Electrical and Power Supply System

To support continuous operations, reliable electrical components and sliding line systems were provided:

90m 320A Single-pole Sliding Line System – Shared by four overhead cranes, including collectors for each crane.

Additional Seamless Sliding Lines – One set of 24m and two sets of 36m seamless sliding lines to power hoists and auxiliary equipment.

High-quality Components – Siemens main electrics, dual-speed motors, overload limiters, and safety devices ensure long service life and operational safety.

HS Code Compliance – All equipment HS codes were included in the Proforma Invoice for smooth customs clearance.

Spare Parts and Add-ons

The contract also covered a wide range of spare parts to ensure long-term reliability. Items listed from positions 17 to 98 in the PI were shipped together with the equipment. Among them, seven load display screens were included and installed on the overhead cranes, providing real-time load monitoring for safer lifting operations.
