Overhead Crane to the Philippines for Maintenance Workshop

SEVENCRANE recently completed a comprehensive lifting equipment project for a customer in the Philippines, including two customized European Overhead Cranes, supporting runway systems, crane beams, and a fixed electric chain hoist. The project was secured through a connection established at the Canton Fair, once again demonstrating the importance of face-to-face communication and the competitiveness of SEVENCRANE's products in the international market.

Project Background

The customer is a professional company specializing in the design, supply, installation, repair, and maintenance of electromechanical systems, including boilers, heat pumps, and industrial laundry equipment. Their workshop regularly handles heavy machinery and components, creating a strong demand for reliable and efficient lifting equipment.

The initial contact was made during the Canton Fair. Unlike many online inquiries, this customer arrived with a clear purchasing plan and specific project requirements. During the exhibition, they spent considerable time comparing suppliers, including visits to several well-known crane manufacturers. Although they evaluated multiple options, they ultimately selected SEVENCRANE based on our competitive pricing, product quality, technical support, and professional service.

Customized European Overhead Crane Solution

According to the customer's workshop layout and lifting requirements, SEVENCRANE designed two customized SNHD European single girder overhead cranes operating on separate runway systems.

Crane No.1 Specifications

  • Model: SNHD European Overhead Crane
  • Capacity: 5 Tons
  • Span: 6.555 m
  • Lifting Height: 8.8 m
  • Working Duty: A5
  • Control Method: Wireless Remote Control
  • Power Supply: 440V, 60Hz, 3 Phase

Crane No.2 Specifications

  • Model: SNHD European Overhead Crane
  • Capacity: 5 Tons
  • Span: 6.15 m
  • Lifting Height: 8.8 m
  • Working Duty: A5
  • Control Method: Wireless Remote Control
  • Power Supply: 440V, 60Hz, 3 Phase

The project also included:

  • P50 crane rails
  • Bus bar power supply systems
  • HN350 steel runway beams
  • One 7.5-ton fixed electric chain hoist with 10-meter lifting height

The chain hoist was equipped with both pendant and remote control systems, providing flexibility for various maintenance operations within the workshop.

Engineering Design Based on Workshop Layout

One of the project's technical challenges was the workshop structure. The two cranes operate on separate tracks and required customized support beam layouts based on the customer's building drawings.

The column spacing throughout the workshop varied significantly, including distances of 5.814m, 5.262m, 5.270m, 5.050m, and 6.218m. SEVENCRANE's engineering team carefully reviewed the architectural drawings and optimized the runway beam design to ensure stable operation and efficient load distribution.

This customized engineering approach allowed the customer to maximize available workspace while maintaining safe crane operation.

Fast Production for Christmas Delivery

The customer expressed a strong desire to receive the equipment before Christmas, making production schedule control a key factor in the project's success.

To meet the deadline, SEVENCRANE prioritized manufacturing and coordinated closely with all departments to accelerate engineering approvals, material procurement, production, inspection, and shipping preparation.

Despite the tight timeline, all equipment was manufactured within 25 working days while maintaining strict quality control standards.

Flexible Logistics Coordination

The project also required additional logistics coordination. The buyer listed on the purchase order and bill of lading was the customer's Guangzhou-based sourcing company, while the final consignee was the end user in the Philippines.

In addition, the customer requested that cargo purchased from another supplier under FCA terms be loaded into the same container. SEVENCRANE coordinated the consolidation process at the port, ensuring all goods were safely packed and shipped together, reducing overall logistics costs for the customer.

Why the Customer Chose SEVENCRANE

Several factors contributed to winning this project:

  • Strong technical support during the Canton Fair.
  • Competitive pricing compared with international suppliers.
  • High-quality European overhead crane design.
  • Customized engineering solutions.
  • Fast production capability.
  • Flexible logistics coordination.
  • Professional after-sales service commitment.

The fact that the customer evaluated multiple competitors before selecting SEVENCRANE further demonstrates the value and reliability of our lifting solutions.

Conclusion

This successful Philippine project highlights the advantages of the European Overhead Crane in industrial maintenance and equipment handling applications. By combining advanced European design, customized engineering, rapid production, and professional project management, SEVENCRANE delivered a complete lifting solution that fully met the customer's operational requirements.

As industries continue to demand efficient and reliable material handling equipment, SEVENCRANE remains committed to providing high-performance European Overhead Crane solutions for customers around the world.
