Trade exhibitions remain one of the most effective ways to establish trust with international customers. During the Euroguss Exhibition in Mexico, SEVENCRANE met a customer looking for reliable lifting equipment for a new production project. After several rounds of technical discussions and continuous follow-up, the cooperation resulted in the successful order of one SNHD-European Type Single Girder Overhead Crane together with a premium electric chain hoist system, providing a complete material handling solution for the customer's workshop.
The customer first contacted SEVENCRANE on October 14, 2025, after visiting our exhibition booth. During the exhibition, our engineering team introduced the advantages of the SNHD-European Type Single Girder Overhead Crane, including its compact structure, smooth operation, energy efficiency, and flexible customization options. The customer was particularly interested in the crane's European design concept and its suitability for medium-duty manufacturing applications.
After confirming the project requirements, SEVENCRANE proposed a customized lifting solution consisting of one SNHD-European Type Single Girder Overhead Crane with a 5-ton lifting capacity, 10.8-meter span, and 4.83-meter lifting height. Designed with an A5 working duty, the crane is equipped with both wireless remote control and pendant control, providing flexible operation while improving workplace safety and productivity.
To meet the customer's local electrical standards, the crane operates on 440V, 60Hz, three-phase power, with a 48V control voltage for enhanced operational safety. The complete system also includes 32 meters of 10 mm² bus bar, 64 meters of 50 × 30 mm crane rail, and a full set of travel components to ensure smooth bridge movement throughout the workshop.
Besides the overhead crane, the customer also purchased a DCER high-end electric chain hoist with a 1-ton lifting capacity, M5 duty classification, and 4-meter lifting height. The electric trolley version allows smooth horizontal movement, while both remote and pendant controls provide convenient operation for different working conditions.
Several customized requirements were incorporated into the project to satisfy the customer's installation and operational needs. A complete set of travel limit switches was installed for both the bridge and trolley traveling mechanisms to improve operational safety. In addition, the crane was equipped with an audible and visual warning system to enhance workplace awareness during operation.
Engineering support was another key factor in the project's success. The customer requested that the complete DWG production drawings for the overhead crane be submitted within five days after receiving the advance payment, allowing their engineering team to verify all installation details before manufacturing began. Technical drawings for the electric chain hoist were also provided, together with reference images of previous installation projects, helping the customer prepare the installation site in advance.
During project execution, the customer made an important modification by changing the destination port from Manzanillo to Ensenada, Mexico, requiring an adjustment to the ocean freight cost. At the same time, the customer decided to purchase a 90% new 40HQ shipping container, which was included in the final shipment arrangement. SEVENCRANE responded quickly by updating the quotation, revising the logistics plan, and ensuring the revised shipping schedule remained on track.
The entire project was completed with a production period of 40 working days under CIF Ensenada delivery terms. Throughout manufacturing, SEVENCRANE maintained close communication with the customer, providing timely engineering support and production updates to ensure complete confidence before shipment.
This successful cooperation highlights the importance of face-to-face communication at international exhibitions. By combining professional technical consultation, rapid engineering response, customized solutions, and reliable project management, SEVENCRANE transformed an exhibition inquiry into a successful order for a SNHD-European Type Single Girder Overhead Crane.
Today, SEVENCRANE continues to support manufacturers worldwide with high-quality overhead cranes, electric hoists, and customized lifting solutions. Whether customers require a single crane or a complete workshop material handling system, our experienced engineering team is committed to delivering reliable equipment, professional service, and long-term value.
