SEVENCRANE recently completed a customized project for a Saudi Arabian manufacturing company, supplying multiple sets of SNHD Type Single Girder Overhead Crane systems for indoor material handling operations. The customer, acquired through a Saudi industry exhibition, required fast production and delivery because their local rebate policy was approaching its deadline. Thanks to efficient communication and rapid engineering support, the entire project was scheduled within only 10 working days before shipment by sea to Riyadh Port under CIF terms.
The project included one 7-ton European style single girder overhead crane, two 3-ton European style single girder overhead cranes, one MD wire rope hoist, as well as rail systems and seamless conductor busbars. All cranes were designed with A5 working duty and equipped with remote control operation. The power supply standard was customized to 380V / 60Hz / 3P according to Saudi Arabian industrial requirements.
Customized Design for Low Roof Workshop
One of the major technical challenges in this project was the customer’s factory structure. The workshop adopted a sloped roof design, and the lowest roof point was only 5.7 meters high. However, the required lifting height reached 4.5 meters. To maximize the lifting space and ensure safe operation, SEVENCRANE engineers specially designed a beveled and low-headroom structure for the SNHD Type Single Girder Overhead Crane.
The European-style compact structure greatly reduced the overall crane height while maintaining excellent lifting performance. This customized inclined cutting design allowed the crane to operate smoothly under the limited roof clearance while still meeting the customer’s production requirements for lifting heavy battery components and production materials.
High Efficiency European Style Crane Solution
Compared with traditional overhead cranes, the SNHD Type Single Girder Overhead Crane adopts a more compact European design concept. It features lightweight structure, low wheel pressure, stable operation, and energy-saving performance. The crane is especially suitable for modern manufacturing workshops where precise positioning and efficient handling are important.
For this Saudi project, the customer selected remote control operation to improve operator safety and working flexibility. The cranes are mainly used for lifting batteries and production materials inside the workshop, requiring stable movement and accurate load positioning. The European-style trolley and high-quality motor system ensure low noise, smooth travel, and reliable long-term operation.
In addition to the cranes, SEVENCRANE also supplied 50×30mm rails and 16mm² seamless conductor busbars with collectors. These supporting systems ensure stable power transmission and efficient crane traveling performance throughout the workshop.
